این شعر فردوسی را پدر خدا بیامرز من همیشه می خواند و جنگ ایرانیان و اعراب را تعریف می کرد …
با آرزوی اینکه ایرانیان اعتماد بنفس دوران قبل از حمله یونانیان و اعراب و ترکهای ترکستان و مغولها و حزب الهیهای دروغین را پیدا کنند و با اتکا به این اعتماد بنفس سالم و سازنده نقش سالم خود در جهان ایفا کنند. به امید آن روز

It is great to be proud of our heritage and our glorious past. But do you think nationalism is the answer in this global world that we live in? In my opinion, we need to live in the now and the reality of the now in order to capture some of what we had in the past.
It seems that we have lived so much in the past and dreamland that we have forgotten how to live in the now and as a result we have made ample mistakes. For example, it was for Iran grandness that the masses rallied behind Ahmadinejad and claimed that having nuclear weapons/power was our right. Even if it is our right to have it, we should have thought about our actions and had not given more power to criminals such as Khamenei and Ahmadinejad. Given the opportunity, this regime would use nuclear weapon as a tool to even more suppress the people.
In addition, as much as we may dislike our neighbors, we need to understand the reality of antagonizing our neighbors. We don’t want war with our neighbors. I am afraid that nationalism will destroy us and further depresses us as a nation. I hope I am wrong.
PS: I can understand if my opinion is not popular.
I would like to add, we have been in a rut for a long time, even before the Islamic Republic took over and further ruined the country. In my opinion in order to capture some of what we had, we need to answer 3 basic questions as follows:
1). Where are we now?
2). Where do we want to be?
3). How do you get there?
The payoff is much greater if we ignore who has done what to us and do our best so that it would not happen to us again. We had these same ideas about Arabs and foreign agents before the Islamic Republic, but followed someone who resided in Najaf and was probably more fluent in Arabic than Persian. We have seen how the Persian language been more influenced by Arabic since the revolution.
We need to decide our future based on what is happening now. Past is past and it does not pay to spend much time on it, since we can’t change it. But we can change the now in order to shape our future.
